Reformation Trees in Charleston, SC and Wittenberg, Germany
In honor of our Lutheran heritage, Holy Spirit contributed to the planting of a tree on the 500th Anniversary of the Reformation in Germany on October 30, 2018. It is one of five hundred trees planted to commemorate the a historical moment in the life of the Church.
On Sunday, October 28, 2018, the 501st anniversary of the Reformation, an olive tree was dedicated in our prayer garden here in Charleston and in memory of the husband of a member of our congregation.
These trees are a special part of our history and remind us of those who have gone before in faith - the saints who paved the way for us to witness to the grace and love of Jesus Christ.
